Clara Kraus is a photographer working between documentary and conceptual practices. Through analog image-making, performance, and collaboration, their work explores family relationships, memory, landscape, and the construction of identity. Their photographs blur distinctions between observation and staging, using personal narrative to examine the emotional and spatial conditions that shape belonging, intimacy, and selfhood.
She is based between New York City and Hawai‘i.
